The “M” Family came from Springfield, Virginia to have a special portrait created of their third child. Traditionally, they have had portraits created at 18 months for their first two children and now Miss ”A” has reached that milestone.
Here is a sneak peek of your adorable little blessing!

These two beautiful children from Bristow, Virginia were here a week ago. All though I will show the color version of these childrens portraits to their parents, I fell in love with this vintage look and decided to share those here on the blog. Yummy!
Feel free to leave comments for their mommy & daddy! We all love to hear how adorable our little ones are!

Christmas fun for the whole family… including the cat!! This Northern Virginia family returned to the studio for some artistic children’s portraits to use in their photo Christmas cards this holiday season. In addition to the really cool shots we got of Master “S” and his favorite furry friend (who is nearly as big as he is!), we captured some fun family Christmas portraits.
Their Christmas cards turned out totally chic and unique… too bad we can’t show you the whole card here. We don’t want to ruin their friends and family’s surprise of receiving their cards in the mail. Though with Christmas just around the corner you won’t have too long to wait to see the finished cards.
Hope you enjoy this little sneak peek. As always, be sure to leave them some blog love……

Two adorable sisters from Warrenton Virginia were in the studio this week for some fun and creative portraits. When they arrived, I was thrilled to see them in their Kaiya Eve pettiskirts that they bought at our local children’s boutique in old town Warrenton, VA. Whether girlie girl or tom boy… ALL little girls love these pettiskirts and they are always fun to use in portraits! Oh, what a pretty “your child as {art}”™ gallery wrap canvas this would make!
Lets see some comments for these pretty little girls to read! I told them they would be “famous” as soon as I posted their sneak peeks!!

I love, love, love photographing these two sisters! They are both so photogenic and love each other so much. This is just one sneak peek for their parents before I start designing their custom Christmas cards.
Be sure to leave the girlsies some blog love…you know at this age they love to hear nice comments!!

Oh my goodness, I have not had this much fun with one of my little subjects in quite a while. This little lad was the sweetest and most delightful little guy! His smile just lit up the studio. Here’s one of my favs…bet you can see why he was so much fun by the little sparkle in his eyes.
Feel free to leave comments for this little guy and his family!

These adorable 22 month old twins came in yesterday and boy did we have TWICE the FUN! We got some darling photos of each of them individually but getting them together proved a bit more challenging! So, here are just a couple sneak peeks for their family! Hope you like them!
Don’t forget to leave some blog love in the comments box below for their mommy & daddy!

This little doll was such FUN to work with! She was just like a ray of sunshine in the studio for me - she lit up the room! Her mommy was the winner of our drawing at a chic children’s clothing boutique in Warrenton, Virginia. The butterflies on her dress were just adorable.
Don’t forget to leave some blog love in the comment section below for this cutie pie and her parents!

I just LOVE this portrait, don’t you? This mom has the most amazing brown eyes and her son’s eyes are exactly like hers! Just a quick sneak peek for her and the family…the others will be ready for viewing soon!

I have been photographing these two beautiful sisters from Manassas, Virginia for many years now and it is always such a joy! Their mom brought them for their annual photo Christmas card session. This year they decided to use two of the couture dresses that we provide for our clients to use here at the studio. There are so many great portraits from this session but I only have time to share just one sneak peek. This is one of my favorites! I cannot wait to create a unique photo Christmas card design for this family.

Oh goodness, we had such a fun time in the studio with all our “Go Team Go” sessions! With so many little fans I am a bit behind in editing but I wanted to post just a couple that are my favs so far. Redskins were the favorite team by far but we also had some young boys that wore their team gear from our local football club here in Warrenton, Virginia - the Falcons! Check them all out! Aren’t they just the cutest??

I love this one! The eldest boy came up with this “pose“!!

More sneak peeks later!
This week I had the pleasure of meeting the two beautiful children featured below from Manassas, Virginia. Mom brought young Master “E” in for a very special portrait session. You see, their family has a wonderful tradition going back 100 years! The tradition is that every boy in the family has his portrait taken at the age of 7 years. I felt so privileged to be the photographer helping to carry on this wonderful family tradition. What an honor!
Mom also brought along a beautiful clock that has been passed down in their family for generations. It was purchased by the little boy’s great-great-grandpa for his wife. Then it passed to his son, the boy’s great-grandpa…who, at age 7, is pictured in the framed portrait beside the clock! Since then it has been passed down two more times and now resides at the little boy’s home, waiting to grace the home of the next generation. What an incredible heirloom this clock and these portraits are!
So, here is a sneak peek for Mom, Dad and their family of one of my favorite images, done in both color and converted to black & white.

When I was done with the young gent, it was time to spend some time with his little sister. Miss “A” was all energy and loads of fun! She looked absolutely precious in her old fashioned gown. I could not help myself in converting this portrait from it’s full color version to a ”vintage” version, making it a perfect “your child as art”™ portrait. Look at her little rosey cheeks!
