Boy, it’s been a very busy few months and I am terribly behind on posting slideshows…so there will be several in the next week posted!

This is baby Chloe’s First Birthday session…isn’t she beautiful? Her pretty blue eyes and rosey lips tell me that she is going to grow up to be a beautiful little girl. Her mom was supposed to come this morning to pick up all her beautiful artwork but came down with strep….poor thing! I hope seeing daughter’s First Birthday slideshow gives her day a bright spot!

I am truly a blessed woman. God has blessed me in so many, many ways…there are too many to count. However, one blessing that I can name right now is all the beautiful babies and their families that allow me to reach into their lives for what really is such a brief moment…but one that captures a smile or an expression that will last a lifetime.

And, this family is no exception. It was only 12 short months ago when I met Miss Charlotte Grace when she captivated our hearts. And as beautiful as she was then as a fresh, newborn baby, she is equally beautiful now as she embarks on her second year of life. What joy to see our sweet babies growing up! As I said, I am a blessed woman…enjoy this little beauty!

This adorable little one was here last week for her Baby’s First Birthday session. It seems like it was just a few months ago that we did her newborn portraits ~ and yet, nearly a whole year has past since then! She has blossomed into such a beautiful and happy little girl! It was pure joy for us to have her back to visit all the way from Quantico, Virginia. Her mom found her the cutest little chiffon romper and matching head band to wear for her session. It was just gorgeous to look at and so comfy to touch.

What a beautiful little one year old! Her mommy and daddy brought her all the way from Rockville, MD for her First Birthday portraits. She was a bit shy but after singing nursery rhymes, in the end she warmed up for us. This handsome little sailor from Woodbridge Virginia was here just over 6 months ago and last week he came back for his 1st birthday portraits. I love watching “my” babies grow! This baby boy has the most amazing eye color and the loveliest lashes. Why is it that the little boys almost always have the longest eye lashes?

Mom & grandmom brought the cutest little linen sailor outfit and it just suited his skin tones perfectly. Hope his family enjoys this sneak peek of their adored little birthday boy.

A lovely mom from Alexandria Virginia brought her adorable baby girl in this week to celebrate her first birthday with some “baby’s 1st birthday portraits.” Before we got into the “smash the birthday cake” shots we caught just a few images of her in her girlie finerie. Precious little lips, rosey cheeks and beautiful eyes – she is picture perfect! But Oh Baby – she really enjoyed the second part when she got to eat the icing on the cake!
