What fun 6 month old baby sessions are!! We always enjoy playing with babies this age. This little sweetheart’s big sister was here just over two years ago and I can’t help but imagine her being such a good big sister.
Mom & baby came from Dulles, Virginia for some artistic baby photography and we were excited to be able to use a few new props that have been waiting for just the right age baby. Love Miss C’s chubby, rosy cheeks and her sweet piggy toes poking out the doll crib. And just look at her toothless smile! Precious!

This precious little princess had the perfect balance of “sleepy time” and “wakey time”. She must have known how much we wanted a portrait of her big, beautiful, deep blue eyes as she gave us a good 15 minutes of awake time right after a feeding. In looking at her dad, it was clear that she has her daddy’s eyes! She was a bit older than most of our newbies but even on her 18th day of life, she was still such a petite little bundle. It is was totally evident just how smitten her parents are with her…and why wouldn’t they be??
Mary and I really enjoyed the hours we spent with this little blessing and as always, I am so honored that her mother and father chose Dandelion Wishes® to capture this precious time in her life! We truly appreciate all our clients that travel from Alexandria, Virginia for our newborn sessions – and there has been a LOT recently…must be something in the water there!!
What a super sweet couple we had the pleasure of meeting last week. This expecting couple from Leesburg Virginia are due to welcome their little man “very” soon! What a sweet little visitor we had earlier this past week! She and her family live near Fairfax, Virginia and were here just over a year ago for her first birthday session…now she has just turned two! Goodness gracious, time has flown by and she has blossomed into such a lovely little girl! It’s such a joy to be able to see our little ones growing up…warms our hearts for sure.

This adorable little one was here last week for her Baby’s First Birthday session. It seems like it was just a few months ago that we did her newborn portraits ~ and yet, nearly a whole year has past since then! She has blossomed into such a beautiful and happy little girl! It was pure joy for us to have her back to visit all the way from Quantico, Virginia. Her mom found her the cutest little chiffon romper and matching head band to wear for her session. It was just gorgeous to look at and so comfy to touch.

We very much enjoyed meeting this little newborn whos family lives in Reston Virginia. Both Mary and I oooo’d and awwwww’d over her gorgeous little head of hair! It was sooo hard to keep from “petting” her head constantly, lol.
All though she enjoyed being awake more than she was asleep, we still managed to coax her to into some slumber for a little bit. I sure hope she does this a bit more for her sweet mommy, who all we moms know, needs a bit more sleep than what she is currently getting. Sleep tight sweet Baby N!

What a cutie pie this baby girl was! She was a bit shy, as many babies are at this age, but we did coax a few sweet smiles from her! She reminded me of a beautiful porcelain doll with her precious pink lips and chubby cheeks. I love babies this age. Her grandmother accompanied her to the session and it was very apparent just how much she adored her little granddaughter ~ so sweet!

It’s so hard for me to believe that this little guy was a newborn baby the last time he was here! Back then he was small enough to fit perfectly on the top of our football but just look at him now! He has blossomed into a darling little boy with the most gorgeous eyes and the best brows ever… I admit, I had brow envy upon his arrival – lol.
We had such a fun time…I am so glad this Herndon, Virginia family brought little “A” back for his First Birthday session…what a blessing it is to be able to watch my little babies grow into precious little people!

When this brand new Mom and Dad from Leesburg, Virgina sent me photographs of their “sea” themed nursery my mind wondered to warm, sunny days at the beach! So, we used this bucket from this newborn baby’s nursery, along with some OBX sand and a few gorgeous shells I have here at the studio and ~ voila! We came up with an over-the-top set for this sleepy little beach boy’s portraits! It won’t be long before he’ll be cruz’n the beaches carrying his bucket to collect all the best sea treasures!

What a wonderful family who visited us from Falls Church, Virginia this week! Their little man just did not want to miss a thing! He was the quietest and most alert little guy we have had in a very long time. He would just look around the studio and not make a peep! For a newborn, he had the most amazing eye contact with me.
Since this little boy is the first on both sides of the family, not only are his proud new parents waiting for this sneak peek but so are his exceptionally proud grandparents, aunts and uncles! Enjoy your beautiful newborn blessing!!

What an adorable little princess that visited the studio last week. Mommy and daddy drove from Burke, VA to bring their baby daughter in for her First Birthday session. I am totally diggin’ the robin’s egg blue dress from Janie & Jack! It was the perfect dress to show off this petite princess’s gorgeous blue eyes! And look at those tousled curls…too cute for sure.
