What a beautiful baby girl little Miss ”I” was! She was just a sweet heart! This Laurel, Maryland family is just the sweetest couple and are so very proud of their new baby girl ~ I can see why! Below are just a couple of my favs. The first one has got to be one of my all time favorites so far…love her little pose with her chin resting on her palms…too sweet!

Goodness gracious – look at this girlie’s baby blues! This adorable 8 mos old baby girl looks sooooo pretty in pink! I know I have used this black and white damask a lot lately but you can see why ~ it’s an amazing and chic background for our style of baby portraits.

This darling couple from Lorton, Virginia were in the studio Friday for their pregnancy portrait session. The expectant mom-to-be requested one of my signature bump poses; the pink tulle and gerber daisy. I asked her if she was open to trying something unique and fortunately for me, she was! I love the way it turned out and hopefully she will to! Another “your bump as { Art }”™ original.

This 4 month old baby boy came in this past week and brought along is favorite “pup”! Funny thing is they both have pretty blue eyes! This is such a cute age…drooly, toothless smiles and inquizitive expressions…makes my job lots of fun!

I thought that the stuffed animal was cute until I saw that last photo – I’m in agreement with Angela – the baby is just beautiful and his expressions are priceless.
These adorable 22 month old twins came in yesterday and boy did we have TWICE the FUN! We got some darling photos of each of them individually but getting them together proved a bit more challenging! So, here are just a couple sneak peeks for their family! Hope you like them!

This past Sunday, my daughter and I took a walk down Main Street in old town Warrenton, Virginia. Though it was a bit chilly I could definitely feel Spring in the air. As she walked happily along the low walls that define many of the little front yards, I was reminded of how it felt to be an eight year old child ~ so care free. We talked about all the pretty flowers that were finally emerging after a long cold winter and we stopped to take some pictures of some of our favorites. So I thought I’d share a few to brighten your day today! Be blessed today!

Hello to you all! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday surrounded by your families and/or friends.
Just wanted to make mention of an important deadline for any of you who are still contemplating ordering some last minute Gift Portraits or extra Christmas cards…
The last day for all orders is December 5th. Any orders received after that day will not be processed and submitted until January 5th, 2009. Because we are trying to meet a tight delivery, all orders must be paid by credit card as there will not be time to wait on personal checks to clear. Remember, do not send me your credit card information in an email. You are welcome to send me your order via email but for security reasons, all credit card numbers need to be over the phone!

I finished up this precious newborn baby girls’ session in the studio today. But the artist in me just would not let me leave this image alone! I have learned to listen to that little voice and so I started creating…I love the finished portrait and just thought I’d share it with you all. It has a shabby, vintage feel to it that I just love. Since my kids are off school for Easter break this week, we decided to do a couple of “fun” things. So, off we went to a wonderful exhibit at the National Geographic building in Washington, DC. We all had such a great time and it was great fun trying to photograph all the cool frogs and toads. Honestly, if you love these little amphibians, then you must try to get to this exhibit. There are probably a couple dozen different species…some much cuter than others! So, here is just a few of my favorite froggy friends…
