Last week, this sweet doll baby from Warrenton Virginia came to the studio. Little Miss “G” has been here before and she always makes me work really, really hard for her smiles but I have to say they are soooo worth it! When she smiles, she lights up the room like sunshine on a summer day. In fact, that is the pet name her Austrian grandmother has for her… her little ”sonnenschein” which is German for sunshine.
So, here is a sneak peek for this sweet baby girl’s family!

Two adorable sisters from Warrenton Virginia were in the studio this week for some fun and creative portraits. When they arrived, I was thrilled to see them in their Kaiya Eve pettiskirts that they bought at our local children’s boutique in old town Warrenton, VA. Whether girlie girl or tom boy… ALL little girls love these pettiskirts and they are always fun to use in portraits! Oh, what a pretty “your child as {art}”™ gallery wrap canvas this would make!
Lets see some comments for these pretty little girls to read! I told them they would be “famous” as soon as I posted their sneak peeks!!

These adorable 22 month old twins came in yesterday and boy did we have TWICE the FUN! We got some darling photos of each of them individually but getting them together proved a bit more challenging! So, here are just a couple sneak peeks for their family! Hope you like them!
Don’t forget to leave some blog love in the comments box below for their mommy & daddy!

This little doll was such FUN to work with! She was just like a ray of sunshine in the studio for me - she lit up the room! Her mommy was the winner of our drawing at a chic children’s clothing boutique in Warrenton, Virginia. The butterflies on her dress were just adorable.
Don’t forget to leave some blog love in the comment section below for this cutie pie and her parents!

This little guy was so much fun to work with…he was so bubbly and happy! His beautiful brown eyes were captivating! His mom brought him from Bealeton, Virginia for his 6-7 month old portraits and he hammed it up for me. I love this age!

Okay, so I am going to do what all good mothers do…I am going to brag a bit on one of my children! Once a week my eight year old daughter attends an art class that she started just over a year ago. She chose to work with pastels and has steadily been honing her skills. When I went to pick her up from class yesterday she brought home her lastest work of art that she’d been working on since just before Christmas. She loves puppies so… more often than not, that is her subject of choice. Well, I just LOVED it! I am so proud of her. She works very hard to get her shadows and blending accurate. So, I told her I was going to share it here on my blog like any slightly biased mom would!!
Thanks for indulging me!

Last year I joined a local camera club in Warrenton, VA and have really enjoyed making some new friends there! This month our club was asked to provide a selection of their work to be displayed outside the conference rooms at the Fauquier Hosptial. Each photographer was allowed to bring three framed images or portraits. I had a hard time deciding on which three to bring from the studio ~ below are my final selections. Do you recognize your little one there??
As you can see, my choices were of my favorite little subjects…newborn portraits and baby portraits. If you are expecting, please visit both our Maternity~Pregnancy and Newborn~Baby pages of our website for more information on these very special sessions.

There are many other beautiful and diverse images of nature, travel and human interest on display – very much worth popping by to see! If you are in the Warrenton area, I would encourage you to stop by and take a peek. Our work will be on display through mid March. You can find the display by going in the main entrance and following the signs to the Conference rooms.

This little girl’s mommy and daddy came in recently from Warrenton Virginia for their portrait Investment Session and this was one of their very favorites so I thought I’d share it for everybody else to see just how sweet this little newborn pumpkin is! Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving !!

This new mom and her precious baby girl came back to the studio for their newborn portraits this past week. Baby was most content when her mommy was holding her – what baby isn’t? I know mom and her family have been waiting for a sneak peek so here you go…
**A note to all my bloggers…please leave comments for this beautiful mom and her newborn baby at the comments link below! You know how much they love to have comments here!**

I have the best job in the world! I am so blessed to be able to work with these brand new little miracles straight from heaven!
This baby girl’s parents, grandparents and friends have been waiting for their second sneak peek so here’s “your baby as art” ™.

This beautiful mom from Warrenton Virginia was just here two weeks ago for her Maternity session and now look who has arrived! Her gorgeous baby girl was just a joy to work with. Only have time for one sneak peek mom & baby portrait today but I’ll post more later! Congratulations to the proud family on such a beautiful little girl!

Just wanted to quickly share an image from another newborn portrait session of a Warrenton Virginia client. Don’t you think this image is just perfect for this season? This precious little baby boy took a while to settle down into his “pumpkin patch” but the resulting portrait was well worth it! So without further adieu, here’s… “your baby as art” ™.

Well, is this not the cutest little newborn baby boy you have ever seen?? Dad & Mom from Warrenton Virginia brought baby “D” into the studio today for his newborn portraits and they allowed me to endulge my creativity! At just 7 days old, this little guy was just the perfect size to rest on top of a football. Dad did such a great job of holding everything steady once Mom and I got baby situated – which took some doing! But this image is so worth the work…it truly is “your baby as art” ™.

Oh, and be sure to leave your comments for the brand new mom & dad by clicking on the “comments” link at the bottom of this post. They’d love to hear everybody’s comments about their future quarterback!!!
