Look at these precious newborn twins from Warrenton Virginia! At two months old, I was concerned that we would not be able to get that “newborn” look that mom really wanted but with persistance and a good pinch of patience, we were able to achieve the “miracle shot” we were looking for!
What a pleasure this little brother & sister where to work with…their mommy, daddy and grandparents are truly “double” blessed. Mom and dad ordered a beautiful gallery wrapped canvas of the second portrait of the twins. We all can’t wait to see it when it arrives…it is going to be amazing in person!
Last week, this sweet doll baby from Warrenton Virginia came to the studio. Little Miss “G” has been here before and she always makes me work really, really hard for her smiles but I have to say they are soooo worth it! When she smiles, she lights up the room like sunshine on a summer day. In fact, that is the pet name her Austrian grandmother has for her… her little ”sonnenschein” which is German for sunshine.

I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest new mom and dad from Culpeper Virginia last week. This is their first baby and you could just feel the pride emanating from them both!
For me personally, I fell head-over-heels in love with this 12-day old little man’s hair. It was sooo soft and just made you want to continually ”pet” him – not to mention cuddle him!

Two adorable sisters from Warrenton Virginia were in the studio this week for some fun and creative portraits. When they arrived, I was thrilled to see them in their Kaiya Eve pettiskirts that they bought at our local children’s boutique in old town Warrenton, VA. Whether girlie girl or tom boy… ALL little girls love these pettiskirts and they are always fun to use in portraits! Oh, what a pretty “your child as {art}”™ gallery wrap canvas this would make!

These adorable 22 month old twins came in yesterday and boy did we have TWICE the FUN! We got some darling photos of each of them individually but getting them together proved a bit more challenging! So, here are just a couple sneak peeks for their family! Hope you like them!

I wanted to invite you all to come to Old Town Warrenton where the streetscapes are nostalgic and return you to the days that “used to be”.
Christmas comes to old town on the first Friday in December with an Illumination Walk, in which Santa lights Old Town! Then he heads to GumDrop Square and Santa’s Secret Workshop. Every Friday night in December prior to Christmas, all the shops will stay open late from 6-9 p.m. and there will be fun for the whole family, both young and old! Listed below are the times for all the festivities!

This little girl’s mommy and daddy came in recently from Warrenton Virginia for their portrait Investment Session and this was one of their very favorites so I thought I’d share it for everybody else to see just how sweet this little newborn pumpkin is! Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving !!

This beautiful mom from Warrenton Virginia was just here two weeks ago for her Maternity session and now look who has arrived! Her gorgeous baby girl was just a joy to work with. Just wanted to quickly share an image from another newborn portrait session of a Warrenton Virginia client. Don’t you think this image is just perfect for this season? This precious little baby boy took a while to settle down into his “pumpkin patch” but the resulting portrait was well worth it! So without further adieu, here’s… “your baby as art” ™.
Well, is this not the cutest little newborn baby boy you have ever seen?? Dad & Mom from Warrenton Virginia brought baby “D” into the studio today for his newborn portraits and they allowed me to endulge my creativity! At just 7 days old, this little guy was just the perfect size to rest on top of a football. Dad did such a great job of holding everything steady once Mom and I got baby situated – which took some doing! But this image is so worth the work…it truly is “your baby as art” ™.

This darling young lady from Warrenton, Virginia came in yesterday for her maternity portaits and we had the best time! Her baby boy was due on Tuesday so we are so glad he waited and allowed us the time to get his first portraits just prior to his arrival.
The portrait image below is especially touching, I think. The small photo next to her is of the expectant daddy when he was a baby…how sweet is that?
I just love this image below! Isn’t she just gorgeous? Can I just say that she’s just as beautiful, if not more beautiful on the inside! We had such a fun time together!
Now, I normally prefer color images but the black and white photography version is just as captivating on this mom-to-be!! Either version would be an awesome “your bump as art” ™ wall portrait.

And, just one more sneak peek because I cannot help myself! I just love this pose too. I decided to add some artful touches along with our Fine Art finish and I love the resulting image.
I am so far behind in my editing but I just had to share this beautiful baby bump from one of our creative pregnancy portrait sessions. Baby bumps are so beautiful towards the end of the pregnancy! The anticipation of the new little life that is about to emerge is just so exciting!

This darling mom-to-be came into the studio today from Warrenton, Virginia for some artistic maternity portraits. She was at the very end of her pregnancy ~ her baby was actually due today! I am so glad the baby waited!
When you think about it, maternity portraits are really your baby’s first photos. So, we started off doing some very artistic images. The first one would be a wonderful “your bump as art” ™ wall portrait. Gorgeous in a bedroom setting!
After getting the creative images, we ended with some fun ones!

Oh goodness, we had such a fun time in the studio with all our “Go Team Go” sessions! With so many little fans I am a bit behind in editing but I wanted to post just a couple that are my favs so far. Redskins were the favorite team by far but we also had some young boys that wore their team gear from our local football club here in Warrenton, Virginia - the Falcons! Check them all out! Aren’t they just the cutest??
I love this one! The eldest boy came up with this “pose“!!
