What a sweet little visitor we had earlier this past week! She and her family live near Fairfax, Virginia and were here just over a year ago for her first birthday session…now she has just turned two! Goodness gracious, time has flown by and she has blossomed into such a lovely little girl! It’s such a joy to be able to see our little ones growing up…warms our hearts for sure.

Little Miss “O” looked so prim and proper in her pretty pink dress and matching rosey cheeks. Sweetness! Here’s a little sneak peek for her mom and dad…enjoy your little beauty!

I am so excited to have finally been able to use this adorable vintage doll pram that I have had for almost a year now! A friend of mine called me last Fall to say that her neighbor was getting rid of it and she immediatly thought of me ~ how cool is that?? Way!

Mom and dad were happy to have me try this out with their newborn girl. Dare I say, she slept like a baby? Honestly, she snoozed nearly the entire session! I sure hope she is doing a bit of that during the night time hours for her mommy & daddy!

Many thanks to this little angel’s adoring parents for allowing me to create a portrait that is truly “your baby as {art}” ™.

This very active, almost one year old baby girl visited the studio last week and boy did she keep me and her momma on our toes! She ended up wearing her own self out and after a little bit of cuddling, she fell asleep. Now, I normally do not get a chance to “play” with a baby this old who is sleeping but when the opportunity arose, I jumped on it. I just adore this image below…totally! She didn’t stay this way very long but just long enough to capture some precious moments for her mom.

What a precious little princess this infant girl was! She came into the world three weeks ago at just over 5 lbs. At her newborn portrait session this week she was still just under 6 lbs… but what a joy she was! She was so tiny that the cherry hat almost made her disappear.

I have been wanting to share this image but had to keep it “under wraps” until Mom & Dad came in from Vienna Virginia for their Investment Session. They were here yesterday and I told them then that I could not wait to share this ”your baby as { Art }”™ portrait on the blog.

I adore this image and the emotional connection of it. This big brother was such a sweet, sweet boy and he was so still and gentle while I got his baby sister in place…he didn’t hardly flinch when he realized that she was tinkling on him! How awesome is that for a boy of his age?? Well done little Mr. ”B”. I am so proud of you, dear. I hope you like this portrait of you and your baby sister as much as your Mom & Dad do!
