These two beautiful children from Bristow, Virginia were here a week ago. All though I will show the color version of these childrens portraits to their parents, I fell in love with this vintage look and decided to share those here on the blog. Yummy!
Feel free to leave comments for their mommy & daddy! We all love to hear how adorable our little ones are!

This newborns mom and dad from Bristow Virginia are New York Giants fans and they brought the cutest little hat and souvenier football so that we could create a fun portrait art piece of their lil’ fan! Isn’t he the cutest little NY Giants fan you have ever seen? What a sport he was…looks like he is contemplating the next play action!

I have been photographing these two beautiful sisters from Manassas, Virginia for many years now and it is always such a joy! Their mom brought them for their annual photo Christmas card session. This year they decided to use two of the couture dresses that we provide for our clients to use here at the studio. There are so many great portraits from this session but I only have time to share just one sneak peek. This is one of my favorites! I cannot wait to create a unique photo Christmas card design for this family.

This little guy was the happiest baby boy! He had such an infectious smile that made me laugh. How blessed I am to work with and photograph such beautiful children!
His mom brought him to the studio from Manassas, Virginia to have his baby pictures taken. His mom’s nick name for him is “chunky monkey man” and you can see why! At just 5 mos old he filled up the cup! But he loved it ’cause his favorite thing is munching on his toes!!!

Mom did not intend to be in the portraits herself but after seeing how beautiful she was, I resorted to begging! She agreed and I am so glad she did…just look how gorgeous this new mom is!

Be sure to leave some comments for this new mom and her gorgeous “chunky monkey man”!!!
Okay, I could not help myself…this little newborn baby from Manassas Virginia is so precious! Here’s just one more sneak peek of her sleeping on her daddy’s arm…look at her scrunchie little lips!

This darling baby girl, just a couple weeks old, was a complete angel during her entire session. Her proud mom and dad came from Manassas, Virginia to have her newborn portraits taken. Just look at this precious little girl!
Be sure to leave these brand new parents a comment or two (at the bottom of this post)!

This week I had the pleasure of meeting the two beautiful children featured below from Manassas, Virginia. Mom brought young Master “E” in for a very special portrait session. You see, their family has a wonderful tradition going back 100 years! The tradition is that every boy in the family has his portrait taken at the age of 7 years. I felt so privileged to be the photographer helping to carry on this wonderful family tradition. What an honor!
Mom also brought along a beautiful clock that has been passed down in their family for generations. It was purchased by the little boy’s great-great-grandpa for his wife. Then it passed to his son, the boy’s great-grandpa…who, at age 7, is pictured in the framed portrait beside the clock! Since then it has been passed down two more times and now resides at the little boy’s home, waiting to grace the home of the next generation. What an incredible heirloom this clock and these portraits are!
So, here is a sneak peek for Mom, Dad and their family of one of my favorite images, done in both color and converted to black & white.

When I was done with the young gent, it was time to spend some time with his little sister. Miss “A” was all energy and loads of fun! She looked absolutely precious in her old fashioned gown. I could not help myself in converting this portrait from it’s full color version to a ”vintage” version, making it a perfect “your child as art”™ portrait. Look at her little rosey cheeks!
