This sweet newborns mom & dad from Reston Virginia completed their portrait art investment session last week and we are happy to share a few of their session favorites of baby Natalie. Isn’t she beautiful??????

This totally sweet couple from Sterling Virginia came for their maternity portraits earlier this week. They wanted their portraits to portray the beautiful bond that they share as they are waiting on their little one to arrive. Of all the lovely images we captured, this one has to be my favorite because I think it does just that. You can just feel it.

We very much enjoyed meeting this little newborn whos family lives in Reston Virginia. Both Mary and I oooo’d and awwwww’d over her gorgeous little head of hair! It was sooo hard to keep from “petting” her head constantly, lol.
All though she enjoyed being awake more than she was asleep, we still managed to coax her to into some slumber for a little bit. I sure hope she does this a bit more for her sweet mommy, who all we moms know, needs a bit more sleep than what she is currently getting. Sleep tight sweet Baby N!

It’s so hard for me to believe that this little guy was a newborn baby the last time he was here! Back then he was small enough to fit perfectly on the top of our football but just look at him now! He has blossomed into a darling little boy with the most gorgeous eyes and the best brows ever… I admit, I had brow envy upon his arrival – lol.
We had such a fun time…I am so glad this Herndon, Virginia family brought little “A” back for his First Birthday session…what a blessing it is to be able to watch my little babies grow into precious little people!

Say hello to our latest newborn baby from Reston, Virginia… she surprised her mother and father by arriving two weeks early! Little Miss “Z” was such a sweetie and was really a joy to pose.
As many of you already know, I love baskets to pose our little newborns in and this is one of my favorties. Look how tiny this little angel looks while nestled all snug in her baby basket. In between set changes, she just continued to sleep all cuddled down in the basket…I hated to move her!

Joy – What a gorgeous Mama! Lovely images!
Shardai – Beautiful mama I love the second pic. I was always conflicted about taking professional maternity pics because I’m a somewhat conservative person and I just wouldn’t be so bold as to take some of the pics I had seen when this phenomenon first appeared. The idea of showing my belly petrified me. But seeing these elegant mamas, especially this last one. I am definitely going to consider this for my second pregnancy.
Crystal – Where did you find the alphabet blocks? I am looking all over trying to find cute ones??
Dawn – Crystal ~ these were a gift to my son for his first birthday back in 1999 so I have absolutely no clue where to tell you they came from! Good luck searching for some similar ones!!
This week we had the sweetest couple from Ashburn Virginia come to the studio for a newborn baby session. Their new “Little Drummer Boy” was delightful to work with. Dad is a RUSH fan and as such, he brought along his snare drum for me to use as a special prop. I love it when clients share their ideas. The image below is the result and I think we’d all agree that this is the cutest little RUSH fan ever!

Oh my goodness, these precious newborn twins from Vienna, Virginia just melted my heart! Their mom and dad are blessed indeed. I was **told** that Miss S was a bit more fiesty than her brother but they both were totally awesome throughout their entire portrait session. Oh baby! This little princess from Dulles, Viriginia came to the studio yesterday to have some portrait art created for her proud mommy. My goodness, Miss A had the most beautiful blue eyes! Beth – I absolutely LOVE my new “My everything bag”! I can’t tell you how many wonderful comments I’ve gotten on it already and I’ve only had it a couple of weeks! The photos we picked for it are perfect! The cosmetic bag is a huge hit also.
